Clay pavers Greve Midtbycenter in Denmark |

The vision of the “Greve Midtby” project is to establish professional standards and inspire other Danish municipalities as well as international visitors. The entire square at Greve station has an area of 3,950 sqm and was paved in a mixed laying with five different colours of ABC pavers.

The “Greve Midtby” station junction between the station and the centre is easier to reach for both pedestrians and cyclists. Numerous seating areas have been created in the square to take pleasant breaks and to be inspired by the artistic play of colours of the five different pavers of the square.

The second associated square is the bus waiting area – an active place to wait for the bus with a very special environment. Here you can swing, see-saw or sit relaxed in a beach chair.

The idea and the overall plan by NIRAS, the general planner of the project, give an impression of the coast, which is only a few minutes’ walk from the station.
