Ole Flemming is a member of the Hamburg-based architectural firm bof Architekten.
The firm’s design process emphasizes collaborative teamwork, enabling the team to qualify for competitions and subsequently bring winning proposals to fruition. These competition entries have led to the realization of impressive projects, such as the design of a research station in Antarctica, which not only required extraordinary architecture but also presented numerous challenges in terms of material procurement.
He also presented the impressive new building for the Montabaur municipal community center, which features striking architecture with its ship-like structure.

At the ABC Architects’ Day, Rudy Uytenhaak and Rob Wesselink provided insights into their work.
In his presentation, Rudy Uytenhaak discussed the aspects of comfort and functionality in architecture as they relate to urban planning. Rob Wesselink, on the other hand, addressed the topic of sustainability and introduced the modular construction principle, which uses prefabricated building elements that can be repeatedly assembled in various locations as needed.

Peter Carl studied at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences after completing an apprenticeship as a gardener. Together with Prof. Irene Lohaus, he founded a firm in 1996, which later became Lohaus + Carl GmbH in 2010. Since 2019, he has been leading the architectural firm Lohaus · Carl · Köhlmos PartGmbB alongside his partners, which carries out landscape architecture projects and has received numerous awards for its work.
The firm’s projects are particularly distinguished by their diversity and their integration into the surrounding environment. This results in spaces such as Westpark in Augsburg, which has become a green oasis for children and adults, or the Dalkepromenade in Güthersloh, where a pedestrian and bicycle bridge connects different parts of the city.
