Presentation: Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Uwe Schröder / Uwe Schröder Architekt
Uwe Schröder studied architecture at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He has his own office in Bonn since 1993. He is a member of the NRW Chamber of Architects, the Federation of German Architects BDA and the German Werkbund Berlin.
After teaching assignments in Bochum and Cologne, he was Professor of Design and Architectural Theory at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008. Since 2008 he has been Professor at the Department of Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture at RWTH Aachen University.

Presentation: Jan Kleihues Architekt BDA / Kleihues + Kleihues
The condition for our design work is the will to design. The aim is to find an adequate expression for each building task that goes beyond what is necessary. The designs are developed from the cultural context and reflect the specific characteristics of the building task and the respective location. The buildings designed in this way are durable - functional reference and aging capability are basic prerequisites for an economical and ecological use of existing resources. Accordingly, the right choice of material, detailing and craftsmanship are of great importance.

Benedikt Kraft studied economic and social history, German philology, political science and art history at the Westfälische Wilhelmsuniversität Münster / Kings College London. Since he can think he writes about architecture, art and modern music for the feuilleton of regional and national newspapers. After much digging in files of German state archives and countless writing projects, Benedikt Kraft has been editor of the DBZ Deutsche BauZeitschrift, Gütersloh, since 1994.
In these more than 20 years of daily confrontation with building culture in all its forms, the editor has distributed over a thousand texts and photos in the DBZ, on DBZ.de and in other international magazines and books as well as online media. In addition, moderation, juror and critic activities are frequent.
