Review ABC Architects' Day 2014

Presentation: Mag. Arch. Kilian Kada / kadawittfeldarchitektur

Founded by Klaus Kada and Gerhard Wittfeld in Aachen in 1999, our office today stands for much more than just architectural design alone. The interdisciplinary approach in our work, in combining architecture, interior design and design on the one hand and at the interface of urban planning and urban projects on the other, reflects the range of our creative work.

We develop value-added space. In a young, creative team with currently over 70 employees, we create value-added architecture as living space, communication space, living space and work space. By contemporary, sustainable architecture, we mean buildings and places that combine functionality, spatial and aesthetic demands, ecology and economy as a lasting contribution to the city, committed to both the user and the public.

She is a member of the Freie Akademie der Künste in Hamburg and teaches at the Hafencity University in Hamburg. Her buildings include the conversion of the Federal President's residence, the Federal Labour Court in Erfurt, the conversion of the Federal Chancellor's office and the Justice Centre in Aachen. In October 2009, the Synod of the Protestant Church in Germany (EKD) elected her to the Council, the highest governing body of the Protestant Church.
