Renovation of the Rittergut Osthoff in Georgsmarienhütte |
Since 2011, the 146-hectare Rittergut Osthoff estate has been owned by architect Christian Kolde and horse entrepreneur Ullrich Kasselmann. The property includes a hotel, a wellness oasis, an architectural office and a stud farm.
The upscale boutique hotel “Rittergut Osthoff” with a restaurant and beer garden, which is owned by Christian Kolde, was developed from an old barn in the past two years. The manor house, which dates from 1480, now houses Kolde’s office in Osnabrück and other farm buildings. The 52-year-old wants to convert the old orangery into a café or beer garden in the near future.
Ullrich Kasselmann breeds valuable foals on his 45-hectare property. In the large coach house, which he also owns, the horse breeder rents out function rooms that are booked for weddings or other events.
