Laura Fogarasi Ludloff studied architecture in Vienna and Dortmund. After several years as a project architect at the firms Anderhalten, David Chipperfield, Ortner & Ortner, and Josef P. Kleihues, she founded the architectural firm Ludloff Ludloff in Berlin in 2007 together with her husband, Jens Ludloff.
The Ludloff Ludloff firm has already completed various internationally acclaimed projects, such as the Sedus Stoll AG Research and Development Center in Dogern, hotel projects in Amsterdam and Vienna, a cafeteria at Tempelhofer Feld, and “Haus FL.”

Pascal François is an architect from Aalst, Belgium, where he lives and works. In 1984, he studied architecture in Ghent and subsequently worked for several years at various architectural firms before founding his own firm, Pascal François Architects bvba, in 2002. In his presentation, he showcased various projects, including single-family homes featuring cutting-edge architecture and the conversion of an old factory into a modern loft.

Together with his two partners, Ingo Meyer and Christian Veit, Ludger Borgel founded bmv architekten. At their offices in Telgte and Hörstel, located right next to Gravenhorst Abbey, the firm carries out a variety of projects ranging from single-family homes to residential neighborhoods and industrial buildings.
In building his own home, Ludger Borgel combined various elements of nature with modern architecture. Through the use of Corten steel and the ABC-Nordic system, the building blends beautifully into its surroundings. Sustainability also plays a major role in this project. With the help of the ABC-Nordic system, which includes a heat exchanger, the heat generated beneath the facade can be directed directly to a heat storage unit and used there for hot water and heating.
